We want to send out a thank you to our FHS and FMS student groups who volunteered at our Run event.

Thank you FHS's Cross-Country team who helped with stuffing goody bags and registration. FHS Swim Team helped at finish line with water, handing out finisher medals & course water stop. Interact Club helped with course water stops & clean up. FMC Cross-Country team who helped with the Kids Fun Run and finisher medals!

We had a great turnout of parents, students and Rotarians with President Scott Beylik leading our meeting this past Wednesday. We presented nine Fillmore seniors with scholarships. We awarded $10,000 in scholarships.

Some members of our FHS Interact Club visited SPARC on Saturday to deliver a donation of food, toys, training leaches, and other needed items for the animals waiting to be fostered and adopted. The students got to visit the kitties and got a visit with a cute pup.

RYLA coordinator Martha Richardson introduced five of our eight RYLA attendees. The students told us about what they learned about leadership and Rotary. Today Rotarian and Fillmore Police Chief Lalo Malagon spoke to our FHS Interact Club. The Chief spoke about his career with the VC Sheriff's Department. The students had many great questions.

A busy Truck or Treat event tonight on Central Ave. Our Interact students decorated, handed out candy, held a banana toss game into evil minions mouths! These are great kids! I'm proud of them.
