ATTENTION FYS KIDDOS IN GRADES 1st through 6th! You are invited to the Women’s Game at Houghton University on Saturday AND to play at halftime. ALL IMPORTANT INFORMATION is below!!!

THIS SATURDAY IS YOUTH DAY 👧⚽️👦❕

ATTENTION LOCAL YOUTH❕You’re invited to attend our game on Saturday, September 5th to cheer on your Houghton Highlanders, grab a free t-shirt, AND walk out with the team for player introductions during starting lineups. For FYS 1st-6th graders - you will also have the opportunity to scrimmage on Burke Field at halftime!

Schedule for the day:
-3:10 pm: arrive to Burke Field, BENCH side gate to walk out for player introductions
-3:30 pm: Houghton Women’s Soccer game begins
-4:00 pm: arrive to BLEACHER side gate for a HALFTIME FYS SCRIMMAGE for:
*1st, 2nd & 3rd graders with FYS
*4th, 5th & 6th graders with FYS

FYS players are encouraged to wear an FYS shirt if possible and soccer campers are encouraged to wear your Houghton camp shirts! We will have HOUGHTON soccer shirts available for ANY YOUTH 12 years old and younger while supplies last.

Our 3rd/4th and 5th/6th grade divisions wrapped up their seasons under the lights on Friday night. Thank you to the kids for all their hard work this summer and the exciting games every session. Thank you to the families for all your support, and thank you to the coaches for all the hours you spent volunteering to work with our kiddos.

That’s a wrap for Kindergarten/1st/2nd Grade Soccer! A big thank you to the kids (and families) for making our Eaglet program such a big success. And a special thank you to our volunteer coaches for creating such an amazing environment for our young soccer players.

Special thanks to this group of Fillmore Central students that spent the afternoon assembling new goals and blowing up over 100 soccer balls to help out Fillmore Youth Soccer. ⚽️
