Jajamin didn’t just finish her first race. 🐴
She appeared to change color. The rare white filly, listed in English racing sources as Jajamine, drew attention after her pale coat took on a pink glow after running at Kyoto Racecourse. The best plain-language read is simple: after hard exercise, horses push more blood toward the skin to release heat, and on a very pale horse, that process can become visible.
The result looked unreal, but it was biology doing its job.
