Hammers of Hope In 2011 we will attempt to reach a goal of 40 projects and that will only be possible with your continued support.

Hammers of Hope is a collaborative effort between JCCP, other non profits and volunteers to improve safety, health and access for Jefferson County, MO low income, elderly and disabled homeowners. Project Coordinator

In 2008 our programs completed 19 different projects and in 2009 with the help of our many volunteers and donors, we were able to complete over

30 different types of home improvement projects for people in need or provide accessibility to ones with disabilities. Hammers of Hope still has a long list of people who need services. While money has become a factor, having enough volunteers to do the work is still the most daunting task. We are looking for teams of volunteers to do a number of job requests that come into our office on a regular basis. We currently have over 60 people requesting a ramp or repairs. It's going to be one of HOTTEST weeks so far this year! Are you ready?

Be sure to check in on your neighbors, especially the elderly and those with serious medical issues. If you or your neighbor are going without air conditioning, call Hammers of Hope today and see if you can qualify for a no-cost window unit A/C. Hammers of Hope has teamed up with Cool Down St. Louis to provide A/C's this Summer for those in need. A/C's are for individuals living in Jefferson County Missouri, without air conditioning. Call and start the process of receiving one today 636-465-0983 ext. 103.
