We are SO excited to welcome you to the “Lonely Days Are Gone: A Community Square Dance Tour” this Sunday at the Ferrisburgh Town Hall!

The tour is headlined by fiddler and singer Ida Mae Specker and caller Sarah Gibson and the Ida Mae Specker Band! This FREE event features:

Potluck from 2pm to 3pm
Concert 3pm to 3:30pm
Square Dance 3:30pm to 5pm

We can’t wait for you to join us for this amazing community event!

The food is hot, the company is great and we are ready to welcome you to our potluck and trivia night this evening with Rokeby Museum at the Ferrisburgh Town Hall.

Potluck is from 5:30pm to 6:30pm and the trivia is from 6:30pm to 8:00pm. This event is open to all ages and is fully accessible. Bring a dish or bring a friend. A contribution is not needed to participate.

Check out some of the prizes for our upcoming Vermont History Trivia Night and Potluck !

Bring a dish or a friend to the potluck from 5:30-6:30 and then test your knowledge with a game of Vermont trivia from 6:30-8:00pm.

Thank you Rokeby Museum for teaming up with us for this great event!

Don't forget! Next Friday, October 2nd, is the America 250th Trivia Night and Potluck at the Ferrisburgh Town Hall. Join us from 5:30 - 6:30 for a potluck dinner hosted by the Friends of the Union Meeting Hall, then stick around from 6:30 - 8:00 for a trivia tournament hosted by Rokeby Museum!

Join a team and compete for the grand prize: A copy of "A Very Fine Appearance": The Vermont Civil War Photographs of George Houghton, plus a one-year Household membership to the Vermont Historical Society! Second prize is two Vermont Historical Society mugs, and third prize is a Vermont Historical Society drawstring bag. Smaller prizes will be available for all participating teams; no one goes home empty-handed!

This event is FREE and accessible to the public. All ages are welcome. No need to bring something for the potluck, just yourself and your Vermont knowledge. Questions and prizes are provided by the Vermont Historical Society.

THANK YOU!

The Friends of the Union Meeting Hall would not exist without the amazing and wonderful volunteers who put in so many hours to make our programming and events a success, working together to plan, send emails and make phone calls and secure sponsorships. Thank you Dean, Jeniah, Jeanne, Karlene, Kurt and Lindsey for your tireless support of our efforts!!

Thank you to our student volunteers who helped set-up, break-down and run concessions, Charlotte, Maggie, Ally, Abby and especially David, for becoming our official flamingo mascot for the day!

Thank you Rick, Nan and Drew for not only lending us tents, but also many thanks for your donation of sound equipment that will support future programming and events! Thank you Andrea for lending us two tents as well, as they made a huge difference in keeping volunteers and attendees dry.

Thank you to Caroline and Dean for helping to pull together the amazing art show! Thank you Rokeby Museum , Clark Hinsdale and Dean Leary for graciously loaning us pieces for the show.

Wow Toyz is a toy manufacturing company that produces high quality, educational toys and models, including vintage and modern die cast airplanes, classic train sets, a variety of educational toddler toys as well as beginner microscopes, available on-line or at specialty retailers.
