Fernley Community Garden This community garden was created by the GIRLZ Ministry to help grow vegetables and fruit to help support the Living Faith and other local food pantries.

Permanently closed.

GIRLZ Ministry, a young ladies group, in 2013 desired to start a community garden for Fernley to assist our Living Faith Food Pantry and homeless ministry at Living Faith Christian Fellowship. The City of Fernley was gracious enough to lease the GIRLZ ministry a piece of land on the corner of Farm District Road and Rainbow Lane. We are always looking for volunteers to help clean up and develop the garden because it is for the whole community not just the Ministry.

we will be holding our first workday Saturday April 25th from 9 am to 12 noon. Bring a rake, shovel, gloves if you have any of these. See ya then. God Bless

The Fernley Community Garden is now going to be administered by Pastor Matt and Pastor Regina McCreary of Living Faith Christian Fellowship because the Mackler Family is on to new adventures in the Tennessee area later this week. We will miss them dearly and wish them the best of luck in their new life. As spring approaches activities for preparing the garden will increase and we look forward to meeting all of you in the community.

Good day...we are in need of help...the weeds are getting to be too much...so we are calling for a workday on Saturday October 11 from 10;00 -2:00 p.m.....please take the time to come out and help beautify our garden...we would like to thank in advance for your consideration
