Thank you to the volunteers who helped remove the flags and carnations today. It’s sad to see the flags go, but soon we’ll all be back again laying wreaths!

About 1,200 were in attendance for Memorial Day. Thank you all for your hard work and dedication that made this day possible. A special thank you to the Nevada Department of Veterans Services [NDVS] for partnering so well with us!

Remembering our veterans with our community today was truly an honor for all of us at the Nevada Veterans Coalition.

A special “thank you” to Preston Sharp of Flags and Flowers Foundation for the donation of carnations for placement with each flag at the cemetery. www.fandfchallenge.com

What a great turnout today for “flag-in” day at the veterans cemetery. We estimate there were about 500 volunteers and all the flags were placed in less than two hours!
