Mark your calendar and join us for an Open Studio with artist-in-residence Jessica Gnyp! The event will take place at McBride Fieldhouse on Saturday, November 29th, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
During her three-month residency at the McBride Fieldhouse artist Jessica Gnyp has created a site-specific sculptural installation inspired by the façade of this former park caretaker’s residence. Gnyp’s recent work is informed by research conducted at the Vancouver Archives tracing the fieldhouse’s original layout, as well as other photographic documentation of this building completed in 1953.
