🕘 WORK SCHEDULE
Monday–Friday
9:00 AM–1:00 PM

There may be an opportunity for this position to transition to full-time in the future.

💻 WHAT YOU’LL DO
Enter numeric laboratory results into our LIMS system
Enter and maintain information in Excel spreadsheets
Review data entries for accuracy and completeness
Maintain accurate and organized electronic records
Follow written and verbal instructions
Work closely with laboratory and office staff
Assist with additional data-entry and administrative duties as needed

Comfortable working with numbers
Basic computer skills
Ability to stay focused while performing repetitive, detail-oriented work

AG Environmental RSC LLC is seeking a motivated Chemistry Technical Lab Trainee to join our laboratory team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in environmental chemistry.

Work Schedule

Full-Time
**Monday–Friday **

Position Responsibilities:
Learn laboratory analytical techniques through hands-on training
Prepare environmental water samples for chemical analysis
Perform laboratory testing in accordance with EPA, NYSDOH, and laboratory procedures
Prepare reagents, standards, and quality control samples
Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment
Accurately document laboratory data and maintain quality records
Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) requirements
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized laboratory
Assist senior chemists with daily laboratory operations
Participate in ongoing technical training and professional development

Qualifications:
Minimum of two years of college coursework in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, or a closely related scientific field
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to follow written procedures and technical instructions
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Basic computer skills
Ability to work independently after training
Willingness to learn and grow within the company
Previous laboratory experience is helpful but not required
