Here are more pictures from our sewing class at school, demonstrating the students' capabilities. These ladies should be proud of what they accomplished. I can't wait to see them when we get there. Some will learn how to make our schools uniforms and sell them.
A uniform cost $6.61 or 24,725 Shillings. A LOT! If you would like to help us purchase uniform fabric and thread, elastic and buttons, or any of the implements to continue making uniforms. When we arrive in country in June, we will purchase some, Just go to; Godwillministries.org

As the supplies got loaded into the church, the Widows and families & the villagers sang praise songs to God hunkered down inside from the rain, knowing they'll have to walk home in it soon, but smiling because of the food they will be carrying.

We stand with the scripture, "For He satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things" (Psalm 107:9) and Jesus' words, "I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry" (John 6:35)
A significant humanitarian food-aid effort was undertaken in a village in Kapchorwa, Uganda today. Godwill Ministries procured large quantities of corn, a staple food, and had it milled. Despite the rain, villagers gathered at the church on Monday morning to receive their allocations. Each family received 20 kg (44lbs) of ground corn, or "Posho", along with essential supplies. (Soap,sugar,salt) May this act of kindness bring nourishment to their bodies and spiritual uplifting from the Lord. Oh were they ever grateful!

Thank you for your many donations! Monday morning we begin a Humanitarian Aid food relief to our friends in the village of Kapchorwa Uganda where our favorite little school, King's Royal's Jr School is. GodWill Ministries, through your donations brings in relief this time of year each year as times are very difficult after a strong drought. Crops are in the ground and soon they will have food but right now they don't. Beginning Monday all of our students and their families, our staff, all the Widows, and the most vulnerable at church and the local neighbors near our school, will all come & walk home with a 44 pound bag of ground Posho which you see in the video is corn being ground. It's their main staple. They will also go home with a small bag of sugar, salt, and a large bar of soap. Thank you Jesus! Thank you to our amazing GodWill ministry donors that have the biggest hearts in the world!!! More pictures to come after Monday.

We are so grateful for your transformative donations, which are changing lives and empowering communities. Godwill Ministries receives your contributions and applies them towards supporting our partner village school in Kapchorwa, Uganda. Your donation enabled us to purchase six treadle sewing machines, plus all the needed sewing items & a large cutting table. The first group of trainees consisted of Moms who are showing remarkable enthusiasm for the program. The sewing class is thriving, with women embracing an opportunity to acquire new skills that will enhance their economic prospects and contribute to their personal growth. It's that time of year again when I look in my full fridge and pantry and cringe. My heart thinks about my friends in Uganda specifically in the village of Kapchorwa. They have a season every year after the drought when the seeds have been planted, but harvest is not ready and food is scarce. That time is soon coming.
Godwill Ministries has helped annually with a humanitarian food effort bringing in a semi truck full of ground maize they call Posho.  This gets divided up into small bags and we provide a months worth of food for the widows in the area, plus all of our staff and our students at school and their families. 
Two years ago, there was a little 6 year-old girl who was a twin who died of starvation in a nearby village.  I still can't stop thinking about that. We can't have that. That is just not OK!
I have asked the Lord to help me raise $2800 so that we can bring humanitarian aid in again.
