to our 2025 Cowboy Camp Out!

We are happy to provide all-inclusive weekend getaways where families can recharge, connect, and meet others walking a similar path. Last year’s trip to The Highlands in Harbor Springs was a total blast, filled with horseback riding, swimming, movie nights, and new friendships.

One parent shared: "𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘦𝘯𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦𝘥 𝘶𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘭𝘰𝘸 𝘥𝘰𝘸𝘯, 𝘳𝘦𝘭𝘢𝘹, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘦𝘯𝘫𝘰𝘺 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦 𝘢𝘴 𝘢 𝘧𝘢𝘮𝘪𝘭𝘺."

That is exactly why we created Cowboy Camp Outs. And we can’t wait to create more of these "slow down" moments this year. 🤠

Why do we do what we do? For Casey.

Casey Foote spent her final years fighting cancer, but the barn was where she found joy and strength. It was there that she could trade chemotherapy and surgeries for grooming brushes and saddles.

When we bring the healing power of horses directly to the children and families who need it most, we do this to honor Casey's life.

Getting summer-ready, one hoofbeat at a time 🐴💜

Our Activity Leaders — the amazing humans who bring the crafts, games, and all the Mary Poppins-inspired fun during Horsey House Calls — spent a beautiful day at STARZ Equestrian Center getting to know some incredible members of our Hero Herd✨

It was a great opportunity for these staffers to explore the barn and get hands-on experience with horse handling, safety procedures, and all the horsey basics before summer programming kicks off!
