STORY TIME!

Sven Coyote has officially found his happily ever after. 🦆❤️

Sven came to us after 2 of our amazing volunteers rescued him from a dangerous and neglectful situation with a backyard duck keeper. He had been through a lot and we were grateful to give him a safe place to land, we knew his long-term happiness would mean finding him what every duck deserves.

Our two resident ducks are a devoted bonded pair who prefer to keep their circle small. We’ve tried introducing other ducks in the past, and they’ve made it very clear they’re happiest as a duo. Since ducks are incredibly social animals, we began searching for the perfect home for Sven.

Thankfully, Heaven on Earth Animal Sanctuary in San Juan welcomed him with open wings.

The video says it all! 😭 Sven is experiencing things he never had before including a pond! In fact, we weren’t even sure he knew how to swim, as he’d never had access to a pond or pool. Now look at him, surrounded by duck friends, splashing in the water, and living his best duck life.

Thank you to for giving Sven the fresh start he deserves. This is exactly the happy ending we were hoping for.

Meet Whisper. She was rescued from a livestock auction along with her mom, Mae, and sister, Whinnie.

She’s the shyest of the bunch and, until recently, preferred to keep her distance from us. But look at this! Of course, she may be hoping we have snacks 🤣, but what matters most is that she feels safe enough to come up and say hello.

We love this sweet little girl.
