This is our moment to stand up for Michigan’s future during the lame duck session. Join us on Dec. 4th to make your voice heard!

Why This Matters:
The "lame duck" session is the period after the November election and before the new legislature takes office in January. It’s notorious for last-minute decisions that often favor corporate interests. In 2018, Michigan saw this firsthand when the controversial Line 5 tunnel project was rushed through during the lame duck session under Governor Snyder.

Way to go, Rochester! Public transportation is green transportation.

Yesterday, SMART service finally arrived in Rochester and Rochester Hills, thanks to the hard work of the Rochester Riders, TRU and all the organizations that pushed for countywide transit in Oakland County!
