May this smile in this picture never be forgotten. This man was proud to put on the badge every single day to serve, and loved doing so. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, his fiance, and his NCSO family. Even though foot prints may wash away from the waves of the ocean, your name……Deputy Josh Moyers will not be lost in the echoes of time. You will be remembered as a hero. May you rest in peace our beloved friend, and may your family and loved ones find peace during these times.

The Professional Firefighters of Fernandina Beach will be honoring Lieutenant Randy Guess (Ret.) on Thursday July 9th by live streaming his Memorial Service at 3:00PM on FaceBook Live. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Local 2836 and the Guess Family would like to make this available to retirees and the community that are not able to attend due to social distancing. Please join us to celebrate the life and career of Lieutenant Guess.
