💙💛 Rotary in Action! 🇺🇸 🇺🇸

Our meeting this week included presenting a $1,555 donation to Bill Cimino of the Cross the Line Foundation. The foundation supports local veterans and their children, including providing college scholarships.

The donation was made possible through proceeds from our quarterly Morning Money fundraiser. We’re proud to support organizations making a difference in the lives of local veterans and their families!

The rest of our meeting was spent in lively committee work, planning our upcoming Lobster Fest and exploring more ways to serve our community.

We were excited to officially induct two new members this week—Berry Ivey, a hospital operations executive with Baptist Health, and Sarah Edwards, a retired Coca-Cola executive.

We’re thrilled to have them officially join our club and look forward to all they will bring to our fellowship, service projects, and community. We’re so glad to have you both! 💙💛

🚣‍♀️ Dream big. Fear less. Keep moving forward.

We were inspired by .britt.ellis , captain of Human Powered Potential’s all-women Second Wave, preparing to row the 5,000+ mile Great American Loop in 2027.

Diagnosed with Young Onset Parkinson’s at 40, Ashley turned her diagnosis into a mission—raising awareness and funds for Parkinson’s research through this incredible adventure.

We’re especially proud that Human Powered Potential is one of the beneficiaries of our Lobster Fest fundraiser! 🦞💙

We can’t wait to cheer on Ashley and Second Wave!

❤️ Rotary in Action! ❤️

What happens when a group of Rotarians, Barnabas volunteers, and a whole lot of food come together? Neighbors helping neighbors!

Our Rotary members recently joined the Barnabas team at the Northeast Florida Fairgrounds in Callahan to help distribute pallets of food to families in our community.

There was plenty of lifting, loading, organizing—and lots of teamwork! 💪 And while the work was physical, the purpose was simple: help make sure our neighbors have food on the table.

We’re proud to roll up our sleeves and be part of a community that takes care of one another. ❤️
