Welcome to Joy to the Children! We are an all-volunteer non-profit organization dedicated to bringing t
he magic of Christmas to economically disadvantaged children and their families in Nassau County, Florida. Since 1994, our mission has been to share the joy and love of the holiday season with those who may not have the opportunity to experience it otherwise. What started as a gathering of close friends during a Christmas away from their families has blossomed into something truly special. Over the years, we have grown from serving 36 children to over 3,000, making a lasting impact on the lives of these deserving children and their families. Our annual Christmas Day celebration is a momentous occasion where these children are greeted with open arms and surrounded by love and support. On this special day, each child receives new clothing, toys, bedding, backpacks, school supplies, books, hygiene products, and a hot meal with entertainment. These gifts are carefully chosen and personalized to bring a smile to each child's face and provide them with essential items for their future. Our aim is to not only create magical memories but also alleviate some of the financial burdens faced by their families, giving them hope for a brighter future. At Joy to the Children, we believe in the power of community and the spirit of giving. We are incredibly grateful for the support we receive from individuals, businesses, and organizations who generously donate their time, resources, and funds to make our Christmas celebration possible year after year.
