Happy Throwback Thursday!
Thank you to everyone who shared your Mercedes-Benz and time with us at Caffeine and Octane Jacksonville this past weekend! Did you catch these awesome S 55 and E 55 AMGs? Most of us know how awesome the E 55s are, but for those who don't know much about the S 55:
The Mercedes-Benz S 55 AMG is a high-performance variant of the flagship S-Class luxury sedan, primarily based on the W 220 generation (1999–2005). It seamlessly blends executive limousine comfort with supercar-level straight-line performance.
Engine: Hand-built 5.4-liter supercharged V-8 (M113K)Horsepower: 493 hp. Torque: 516 lb-ft. 0 to 60 mph: 4.6 seconds. THis is when AMG styling was a bit more muted, and many people love the understated elegance, while piloting an executive rocket ship! Massive AMG brakes, a subtle aerodynamic body kit, quad exhaust tips, and staggered AMG multi-spoke alloy wheels make this a wonderful treat to see!
