Trinity Love Hoblit Foundation

Trinity Love Hoblit Foundation The Trinity Love Hoblit Foundation, a non-profit 501 (c)(3), established in 2016. Protecting the human brain. Empowering families.

The Trinity Love Hoblit Foundation turns hope into action through education, awareness, and support. Trinity Love Hoblit Foundation, a non-profit 501 (c)(3), established in 2016 is headquartered in Amelia Island, Florida. Its purpose is to support and fund Neuroscience research for pediatric and adult patients receiving treatment at Wolfson Children’s Hospital, Baptist Neurological Institute, Bapt

ist Health and other similar facilities; raise awareness and educate the public in the fields of neuroscience and organ transplantation; and to support local education facilities and schools. Trinity passed away in 2015 at the age of 14 from a ruptured brain aneurysm. She was an advocate of organ donation so with her family’s support, she gave life to three donor recipients after her death. Her heart was given to a 5-year-old boy that was awaiting a heart for over a year, her liver went to a 6-month-old baby boy and a kidney to a 29-year-old woman. These three recipients are alive today as a result of Trinity and her family’s support for organ donation. On September 2016, Trinity Love Hoblit Foundation Endowment was established to support neuroscience research for pediatrics and adults at Wolfson's Children's Hospital and Baptist Neurological Institute. Endowments are an ideal way to establish a legacy that helps future generations. And because of the uncertain financial landscape surrounding health care, endowment gifts have never been more important than they are today. Gifts to endowments support activities today, grow over time and provide a steady, predictable source of financial support for the future of our community's health care. Currently, Baptist Health is matching all endowment gifts, providing a unique opportunity to help build and grow endowments.

Music legend Quincy Jones survived two life-threatening brain aneurysms long before producing some of his most celebrated work.

What many may not know is that after facing extraordinary odds, he returned to innovate and shape culture for decades.

Stories like this remind us that survival can lead not only to recovery but to profound contribution.

Awareness matters. Research matters. Support matters.

Progress in neuroscience is driven by more than discovery alone it is shaped through collaboration.

In this conversation, our founder Olivia Hoblit joins Dr. Hanel and leading researchers to discuss the work advancing innovation in cerebrovascular care, the importance of continued research, and what the future may hold for patients and families.

This is the kind of progress we believe in: science, partnership, and purpose moving together.

At the Trinity Love Hoblit Foundation, we remain committed to supporting the people and institutions pushing this work forward.

September is Brain Aneurysm Awareness Month, and we want to express our gratitude to Congressman Aaron Bean for championing brain aneurysm awareness and honoring Trinity’s legacy on the U.S. House floor this past Thursday. 🧠❤️
We are also deeply grateful to Dr. Ricardo Hanel and his research team, Dr. Vincent Tutino, PhD, FAHA, Baptist Health, University at Buffalo Neurosurgery (UBNS), The Jacobs Institute and the entire Trinity Love Hoblit Foundation team for their collaborative work on the Florida Familial Brain Aneurysm Research Project — advancing understanding of genetic risk, safeguarding future generations, and improving care for so many.
This vital project would not be possible without the support of the State of Florida, Governor Ron DeSantis, State Senator Clay Yarborough, Congressman Aaron Bean, State Representative Wyman Duggan, SBIR, and our amazing donors who believe in this mission and make groundbreaking research a reality.
Trinity’s light inspires us to keep moving forward — advancing research, awareness, and care so more lives can be protected. 💫

💜 A Teen’s Triumph Over a Life-Threatening Brain Bleed 💜

At just 14, Colton Stengel experienced a sudden and severe headache that led to a life-threatening brain bleed caused by a ruptured arteriovenous malformation (AVM). Thanks to the swift actions of his parents and the expert care at Wolfson Children’s Hospital and Baptist Health Jacksonville, Colton underwent emergency brain surgery and is now on the path to recovery.

Key figures in Colton’s remarkable recovery included Dr. Nathan Ranalli, MD, a pediatric neurosurgeon at Wolfson Children’s Hospital, and Dr. Ricardo Hanel, MD, PhD, co-medical director of the Baptist Stroke & Cerebrovascular Center. Their expertise and prompt intervention were crucial in saving Colton’s life.

Colton’s journey underscores the critical importance of early recognition and specialized care in treating pediatric neurological conditions.

⚠️ Know the Signs:
If you or your child experiences the sudden onset of the worst headache of your life—especially if accompanied by nausea, vomiting, or unresponsiveness—seek immediate medical attention. These can be signs of a serious condition.
