Looking for Leaders

Yesterday, we had the privilege of engaging with two key leaders as we continue to advance the Community Fashion & Learning Center Project in Kabile.
We first had the opportunity to meet the DCE for Jaman North, where we officially introduced the project and shared our vision of creating a fully equipped center that will provide young people with practical skills, digital learning opportunities, and pathways to employment.
We also had a fruitful engagement with Hon. Eric Adjei, Esq., CEO of the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP), to present the project and explore opportunities for support and collaboration.
The Fashion Center is more than a building. It is an investment in skills, entrepreneurship, dignity, and the future of our young people.
We are grateful to these leaders for making time to listen to our vision, and we remain committed to engaging stakeholders, partners, and well-meaning individuals until this dream becomes a reality.
The vision is clear. The work continues. The future of Kabile’s youth is worth the effort. 💪🏾

We are delighted to announce that the Chiefs of Kabile have donated 50 bags of cement towards the completion of plastering and flooring works at the Community Fashion & Learning Center.

Out of the 150 bags of cement required to complete these works, this generous contribution brings us a significant step closer to our goal. The cement was officially received by a delegation from Looking for Leaders and Concern Youth of Kabile.

We are deeply grateful to the Chiefs of Kabile for their commitment and support towards this transformative community project.

We are also using this opportunity to appeal to individuals, organizations, businesses, philanthropists, and friends of the community to join us in completing this project.

Your support can be in cash or in kind cement, building materials, equipment, or any other form of support will be greatly appreciated.

Together, we can complete the Fashion & Learning Center and create opportunities for skills development, entrepreneurship, and a brighter future for our young people.

We continued to participate in the Ghana Civil Society Forum 2026, where conversations focused on The Future of Civic Action and how stronger partnerships can advance democratic governance and inclusive development in Ghana.
Our team had the opportunity to participate in the Proposal Development and Pitching masterclass, gaining practical skills on developing compelling proposals, communicating project ideas effectively, and mobilising resources to create lasting impact in our communities.
As an organization committed to developing young leaders and driving community transformation, we believe these insights will strengthen our ability to design sustainable projects and build strategic partnerships that benefit the people we serve.
We are grateful to the organizers for creating this valuable platform for learning, networking, and collaboration, and we look forward to putting these lessons into action.
Together, we continue to build leaders, strengthen communities, and shape a better future.

Looking For Leaders joined stakeholders from civil society, government, development partners, academia, the private sector, the media, faith-based organisations, traditional authorities, and youth groups at the Ghana Civil Society Forum 2026.
Held under the theme "Reimagining Partnerships for Democratic Consolidation and Inclusive Development," the Forum has created a platform for meaningful dialogue, collaboration, and collective action towards building a stronger and more inclusive Ghana.
We were honoured to witness the opening ceremony, graced by H.E. the President of the Republic of Ghana, whose address challenged all stakeholders to move beyond discussing challenges and focus on creating lasting solutions.
Two key messages from his address stood out to us:
"The future generations will not judge us by the challenges we inherited but by the solutions we created."
"Our response to today's challenges must not be to retreat from democratic principles; it must be to deepen democracy, strengthen institutions, and widen participation."
These powerful words reinforce our commitment as Looking For Leaders to continue empowering young people, strengthening communities, and building partnerships that contribute to democratic governance and sustainable development.
We look forward to the insightful discussions, networking opportunities, and practical learning sessions in the days ahead.
Together, we are reimagining partnerships for democratic consolidation and inclusive development.

With hearts full of gratitude, we are excited to share that thanks to your generous support, we are almost done with the block-laying phase of the Kabile Community Fashion & Learning Center project. Every donation, contribution, and word of encouragement has brought us this far, and we sincerely appreciate everyone who has supported this vision.
What started as a dream is gradually becoming a reality. We are now preparing to move into the next stages of construction as we work towards creating a center that will provide vocational training, skills development, and economic opportunities for young people, especially women, in Kabile and it’s surrounding communities.
