We continued to participate in the Ghana Civil Society Forum 2026, where conversations focused on The Future of Civic Action and how stronger partnerships can advance democratic governance and inclusive development in Ghana.
Our team had the opportunity to participate in the Proposal Development and Pitching masterclass, gaining practical skills on developing compelling proposals, communicating project ideas effectively, and mobilising resources to create lasting impact in our communities.
As an organization committed to developing young leaders and driving community transformation, we believe these insights will strengthen our ability to design sustainable projects and build strategic partnerships that benefit the people we serve.
We are grateful to the organizers for creating this valuable platform for learning, networking, and collaboration, and we look forward to putting these lessons into action.
Together, we continue to build leaders, strengthen communities, and shape a better future.

Looking For Leaders joined stakeholders from civil society, government, development partners, academia, the private sector, the media, faith-based organisations, traditional authorities, and youth groups at the Ghana Civil Society Forum 2026.
Held under the theme "Reimagining Partnerships for Democratic Consolidation and Inclusive Development," the Forum has created a platform for meaningful dialogue, collaboration, and collective action towards building a stronger and more inclusive Ghana.
We were honoured to witness the opening ceremony, graced by H.E. the President of the Republic of Ghana, whose address challenged all stakeholders to move beyond discussing challenges and focus on creating lasting solutions.
Two key messages from his address stood out to us:
"The future generations will not judge us by the challenges we inherited but by the solutions we created."
"Our response to today's challenges must not be to retreat from democratic principles; it must be to deepen democracy, strengthen institutions, and widen participation."
These powerful words reinforce our commitment as Looking For Leaders to continue empowering young people, strengthening communities, and building partnerships that contribute to democratic governance and sustainable development.
We look forward to the insightful discussions, networking opportunities, and practical learning sessions in the days ahead.
Together, we are reimagining partnerships for democratic consolidation and inclusive development.

With hearts full of gratitude, we are excited to share that thanks to your generous support, we are almost done with the block-laying phase of the Kabile Community Fashion & Learning Center project. Every donation, contribution, and word of encouragement has brought us this far, and we sincerely appreciate everyone who has supported this vision.
What started as a dream is gradually becoming a reality. We are now preparing to move into the next stages of construction as we work towards creating a center that will provide vocational training, skills development, and economic opportunities for young people, especially women, in Kabile and it’s surrounding communities.

Across many communities, talented young women complete tailoring and fashion training with dreams of building a better future for themselves. Yet after training, many are held back by the same challenge - limited access to sewing machines, workspace, and startup support.

To help address this, Looking for Leaders Inc., in partnership with Concern Youth of Kabile, is building a Community Fashion & Learning Center in Kabile - a space where young women and aspiring fashion learners can learn, work, earn, and grow.

The project is already about 50% complete, and we are calling on individuals, organizations, and well-wishers to support us in completing and equipping the center.

This is more than a building project. It is about creating opportunities, empowering livelihoods, and giving hope to the next generation.
