While we’re still in the middle of winter across the Ozarks, our recent warm-up may have some looking toward spring and what to start planting.

Hey Stream Teamers and every one else. There is a hands-on Water Quality Monitoring event happening on November 20 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Forestwood Park on Ferguson Ave. Yes, you will get to use the Kick Net and the WQ Equipment at stream side. So, you will pick the Macro-Invertebrates out of the Kick Net and get to use the Dissolved oxygen kit, Conductivity and pH Meters, turbidity tube, check for chlorides, hardness, ammonia, phosphate, alkalinity, and Nitrate’s, and Temperature both (Air and Water), we also in Flow Rate of the stream with a rope and a tennis ball. Come out and find out how the Stream Team program monitors Missouri streams, and see what's really in your rivers and stream's and if you are lucky a train might pass by overhead. All this while enjoying nature all at the same time. The address is 824 Ferguson Ave. Ferguson, MO 63135.
