☀️ Summer temperatures are on the rise, and staying safe in the heat is important for everyone. Here are a few simple ways to protect yourself and your loved ones during hot weather:

💧 Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water throughout the day.
🚗 Never leave children or pets in a parked vehicle, even for a short time.
🌳 Limit time spent outdoors during the hottest parts of the day.
🧴 Apply sunscreen before going outside and reapply as needed.
❄️ Use air conditioning if available, or seek out cool indoor spaces.
❤️ Check on those who are considered high-risk to make sure they are safe.

Need a place to cool off? The Missouri Department of Health & Senior Services maintains a statewide map of cooling centers: https://ow.ly/MzQX50Zaams
