Step Right Up for the 2026 4-H Engineering Design Challenge!

Step right up for the 2026 Minnesota 4-H Engineering Design Challenge (EDC), where youth in grades 3 and up work in teams to design and build a Rube Goldberg™–style machine that wins a carnival game and creatively shows the crowd the victory. Interested youth should contact their local Extension educator to form a team and complete the optional intent-to-form-a-team form by June 30, which helps connect you with an educator in your area and provides additional support and information to help your team prepare. Note that the intent to form a team is not required.

Fill out the Intent to Join a team form by June 30 to receive extra support from educators.

Fairboard hosting 4-H Fair Clean-Up Day!

4-H Food R***e 🍪🥗 and Public Presentations 🎤 will take place on Tuesday, June 30 at the West Otter Tail County Fairgrounds!

⏰ Check-in begins at 7:45 AM
⭐ Judging begins promptly at 8:00 AM

Join us for our Cloverbud Club: STEM Day Camp, hosted by C.R.E.S.T., on Wednesday, June 17 at the West Otter Tail County Fairgrounds to learn about rocks, minerals, fossils, and seeds! Day Camp is from 1:00 - 4:30pm, a snack will be provided, and there is NO COST to attend. Register by Monday, June 15 to attend!

Attend Prepare for the Fair afterwards! Supper served at 5:00pm followed by livestock and craft learning stations. Register in 4-H Online to attend this event!
