Looking for a premier outdoor summer camp for your 13–15-year-old kids this summer? Woodie Camp is a week-long youth camp held in Fergus Falls, MN, it is held the first week of August! It is a 7-day, 6-night camp all about the outdoors, focused on ducks and geese. It is open for all boys and girls no matter where they live. There is NO Cost to attend!! Today is the day that the Woodie Camp Registration opens! Woodie Camp is for boys and girls ages 13-15, all they need is their fi****ms safety certificate by the time camp begins! The dates for Woodie Camp are August 2 - 8, 2026. The kids are going to have a great time in the great outdoors! Woodie Camp is held in Fergus Falls, MN at the Prairie Wetlands Learning Center, 6 overnights and 7 days! No cost to attend! We appreciate you all sharing this with friends, family etc.

Woodie Camp 2026 is being planned and the dates are set! Dates are August 2 - 8, 2026. This outdoor camp is held in Fergus Falls, Mn and is open to boys and girls ages 13-15. There is NO charge to attend. This camp is operated by the Fergus Falls Fish and Game Club that has been in operation over 100 years! We are able to not charge a fee thanks to the many individuals and Sportsmens's Clubs from around the state. Woodie Camp has been operating for over 30 years, with thousands of kids attending in that time.

The application process will begin February 1st! We will provide a link to the application on this page at that time.

We get kids attending each year from the entire state, and from different parts of the country at times. We would appreciate any help in sharing this incredible youth camp!

What a great time at Advanced Camp! Sporting clays and scouting yesterday and planning the hunt last night for today’s hunt. Today half the kids went into the field and half the kids hinted the ponds in the morning. Pheasant hunting this afternoon, and a great dinner this evening! Who ever hunted the ponds today will hunt the field tomorrow and vice versa. The kids are having a little of fun, and I suspect bed time will be a bit earlier tomorrow. Great time passing on the hunting tradition!

Woodie Camp wrapped up yesterday, what a great week! We dodged and pivoted around weather and had a fun week! Thank you to all the campers and parents, and we couldn't do this camp without our counselors and directors. We really couldn't do Woodie Camp without the incredible volunteers that are dedicated to passing on the outdoor traditions. A real special thanks to all the supporters of Woodie Camp, too many to include here, from all over the state, they are appreciated greatly! We look forward to the future and are always looking for help promoting this camp or helping at this camp.

Thank you all who helped make last week happen and thank you campers and parents!

Fun couple of days at Woodie Camp. Wild game cooking yesterday afternoon, and a great dinner! Today is awesome, with duck banding in the morning, and competitions this afternoon, a scavenger hunt on the prairie. The competitions this afternoon include Waterfowl ID, Camp test, clay pigeon top gun competition, and a duck and goose calling contest!

We are watching the weather very closely and are hoping we can get out bonfire in tonight, but we will be safe.

The week has been great, and we hope all the campers are making memories! More photos to come.

Another great day at camp! Last night was orienteering, followed by night time navigation, and a survival class, I’m happy to report they all learned something and survived the mosquitos! This morning after breakfast, they are learning about carving decoys and painting their own, as well as deck nesting structures and why we do it. Enjoy some photos from this am!

Good afternoon from Woodie Camp! This morning the campers cleaned mallards and made marinades with the meat, they will be making dinner for all of us tomorrow afternoon! This will be our first competition of the week. The presentations and food with be judged by special guest judges. After a morning of game care, we went to Ten Mile lake for our water day. Swimming, boat safety and decoying. They will be tired tonight. What a great day!
