This is a reminder that the Bluestem Store will be open today and tomorrow, Wednesday and Thursday, from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm. The accompanying photo showcases four of the numerous books in our collection that aim to encourage children and parents to explore and appreciate nature. Our trails, which are an ideal starting point for outdoor adventures, are open daily during daylight hours.

The Friends of the Prairie Wetlands Learning Center is hiring a Business and Marketing Coordinator to help grow our impact. This part-time role combines retail management at the Bluestem Store with marketing, outreach, and community engagement—all in support of nature and conservation education.

As a key team member, you’ll:

✅ Manage general business and store operations

✅ Drive social media and event outreach

✅ Support volunteer and board recruitment

✅ Promote our mission to conserve the prairie pothole region

If you’re passionate about nature, conservation, and building community capacity, we’d love to hear from you!
