Looking for a nice and scenic run or walk?! Join us for the 24th Annual 5K Run/Walk and Kid's Fun Run on Saturday, June 20th at the Ferdinand Heimatfest sponsored by Best Home Furnishings! The 3.1 mile course will start at Forest Park High School and take you thru the scenic views of the Sisters of St. Benedict of Ferdinand, Indiana Monastery Grounds and the Old Town Lake!

Registration will take place in the Forest Park Jr. High School Gym. The Kid's Fun Run will be on the track immeditaley following the 5K (Ages 12 and under)

Awards will be given in each age group (9 & under through 70 & over)
Prize money/plaque to overall male/female ($50) male/female masters, ($30) runners
Free Ribbons to every Fun Run participant!

Ready for some delicious ice cream sandwiches and flavored teas?! Come on down to this year's Ferdinand Heimatfest sponsored by Best Home Furnishings and enjoy some wonderful treats from the Sisters of St. Benedict of Ferdinand, Indiana!

Ferdinand Heimatfest is coming up, and the Sisters will be there with special treats! On June 20, enjoy live music and entertainment, delicious food, a beer garden, and activities for the whole family. There’s something for everyone to enjoy — and the Sisters will be selling delicious, homemade ice cream sandwiches and flavored teas to beat the festival heat. So on Saturday, June 20, stop by our booth at the Ferdinand Heimatfest!

The Tri-County YMCA will be hosting a Co-Ed Volleyball Tournament at this year's Ferdinand Heimatfest sponsored by Home Furnishings on Saturday, June 20th at 18th Street Park in Ferdinand! Start Time is 9:00 AM ET and cost is $70/team. Team format must consist of a 6 person team with 2 females required per team. Pre-Registration is required. Entry forms can either be mailed or dropped off at the Tri-County YMCA. Registrations must be received by June 17th. For more information, please contact Logan Ayer at [email protected].

Calling all Backyard BBQ fanatics! The 2026 Ferdinand Heimatfest sponsored by Best Home Furnishings is accepting registrations for teams wishing to participate in Southern Indiana Butcher Supply Backyard BBQ Contest on Saturday, June 20th, 2026! Cost for team registration is $25.00. Categories include Chicken, Ribs, Pulled Pork, and Brisket. Overall winner will take home $500 and overall runner-up will win $250!
