Brownie has returned! Our F250 went to Las Vegas and back for the National Biodiesel Board convention. Brownie was driven by Kevin Herdler of St. Louis Clean Cities. While at the convention the truck and Kevin helped educate people on the potential of renewable fuels. Brownie has served the Biodiesel Industry for 30 years!

We are now registered with the IRS and EPA as a fuel provider. Our fuel meets or exceeds all federal standards for Biodiesel. We are meeting next week with Washington University regarding the fueling of their catering trucks. We are looking for more customers. Are you interested in trying some B50?

Many thanks to Draco Mechanical Supply who gave us new Teflon and Viton seals free of charge for our flow meter. We will be making a 200 gallon batch of Biodiesel soon.

Many thanks to Ben Stewart, soon to be Eagle Scout and Troop 680 from Sacred Heart Valley Park who provided us a new crop garden. We plan to use the new garden to teach how corn and soybeans can be rotated which helps soil. We are excited to add corn in addition to soybeans and can't wait till spring planting!

Last Friday Brownie pulled Ranken's Biodiesel Education trailer to New City School and had a great time with the kids. We taught 4 different groups of students on the potential of renewable fuel. The kids played with soybeans, washed biodiesel, and learned about titrations and indicators. We had a lot of fun and hope to visit again!

RSHS Students Corey, Ryan, and Zoe explain renewable fuel produced from soybean oil and waste vegetable oil to students at last nights STEAM night at LaSalle Springs Middle School. It was fun!!

Changing out the filter in Betty yesterday turned out well, only a little bit of oil on the floor haha. Always on the lookout for more members and if anyone needs an oil change just talk to a biodiesel member!
