The Fenton Arts Council is excited to introduce our next solo artist featured at the Beale Street Gallery — Seth Bingham!

At 32 years old, Seth has already worn an impressive number of hats: photographer, piano teacher, scientist, cyclist, leatherworker, and even professional aquarium cleaner. But over the past year, he made the conscious decision to embrace another role, one that has actually been part of him for as long as he can remember:

For Seth, claiming that title has been a journey in itself.

The Fenton Arts Council invites FAC members and non-members to submit original artwork for our upcoming exhibit, “Honoring Fenton Area Veterans,” at the Fenton Community & Cultural Center.

We welcome 2D and 3D artwork created in recognition, reflection, or celebration of the veterans of the Fenton area and their service. ❤️🤍💙

⏰ Application Deadline: September 15, 2026 at MIDNIGHT
📍 Location: Fenton Community & Cultural Center
📏 Maximum Artwork Size: 20”W × 24”H

Exhibit runs October 30-December 28, 2026
Artist Reception November 17

🎨 ARTWORK REQUIREMENTS

• All artwork must be original and handcrafted by the submitting artist.
• 2D and 3D artwork only — no performance art.
• AI-generated artwork will not be accepted.
• Digital artwork must be original to the artist and printed, matted and framed.
• Artwork must be comparable to the work shown in the submitted jury images.
• Framed dimensions must be provided with your application.
• All hanging artwork must be gallery-ready, properly wired and ready to hang.
• Unframed canvases must have painted edges.
• Artwork created from commercial molds, kits or other commercial replication methods will not be accepted.

📧 Accepted artists will be notified by email with artwork delivery and pickup instructions. Accepted artwork must be delivered in person unless prior arrangements have been made.

💰 ART SALES:
A 40% commission will be charged on artwork sold during the exhibit. All sales will be processed through the Fenton Arts Council, which will collect and submit the required 6% Michigan sales tax. Artist payments will be mailed within 40 days of the sale.

Artwork must be picked up at the designated date and time unless prior arrangements have been made. FAC is not responsible for damage or theft of artwork.

🇺🇸 We look forward to creating a meaningful exhibit that honors the veterans who have served our country and our Fenton-area community.

🎨 ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: Natalie Burcham Perkins
Just a couple more days to see this wonderful exhibit!

The Fenton Arts Council is excited to spotlight Natalie Perkins, whose beautiful figurative work focuses primarily on portraiture, capturing the unique beauty and individuality of her subjects as well as serene moments of everyday life.

After a career as a school counselor, Natalie followed the creative calling she had felt since childhood and began pursuing art full time. A native Michigander, Natalie now calls Fenton home. ❤️

✨ Come experience Natalie’s work in person at the Fenton Arts Council exhibit at the Beale Street Gallery.
