While this isn’t a necessarily a dog post, it is a post to honor one of the good ones.

10 years ago, St. Louis County Police Officer Blake Snyder was shot and killed in the line of duty. It shook the community.

Officer Snyder had applied for the K9 process prior to his death. To honor and remember Blake, Brandon has taken his late K9 Yago and K9 Nero for a visit a handful of times over the past years.

Blake is remembered every day for his incredible commitment and service to the community he served. He is never forgotten 💙🖤

We wanted to thank Haunted Soulz Paranormal LLC for hosting a trivia night to benefit PAW Stoppers. 🎉They raised $3100 for us!! 🎉

We appreciate everyone for getting a table, stopping by to say hello, giving donations, and for purchasing merchandise. PAW Stoppers raised over $1000 at the merchandise table!

That was over $4000 in just one night 😱

Again, sending our biggest gratitude to Haunted Soulz Paranormal for a very successful night.

This spring, St. Louis County K9 Unit hosted the NAPWDA Missouri Workshop where police K9 teams from across the state participated in their yearly certifications and training opportunities. In order to have a successful workshop there needs to be master trainers, hotel rooms, provisions, training sites, t-shirts, etc. A workshop like this can cost a decent amount of money to be successful. PAW Stoppers worked with the St. Louis County K-9 unit to get as much items donated as possible to keep the out of pocket cost to a minimum. Beis Plumbing LLC stepped up and became one of our biggest supporters. We are happy to recognize Beis Plumbing for their donations and support!

We were honored to welcome the St. Louis County Police Department K9 Unit to our office yesterday and receive this thoughtful plaque recognizing our support of the PAW Stoppers Inc.

Giving back to the community that supports us has always been important to our family. We're proud to help provide resources that support the incredible K9 teams who work every day to keep our community safe.

🎉 Happy retirement Laika! 🎉

Laika was born in Spain and came to the US in 2022. She began her training with the ATF to locate the odor of ignitable liquids used in fire scenes using the food reward methodology. Laika graduated in December of 2022 with her handler, Det. David Sandbach. As part of the ATF's Accelerant Detection Canine program, Laika and her handler were one of 70 ADC teams across the country. During her time as an active duty canine, Laika was deployed in nearly 150 scenes. Laika and her handler retired on June 30, 2026.
