Crossover Sound Waves Joins Forces with CityServeX

The Santa Cruz Pastors Fellowship has brought CityServeX into Santa Cruz County. CityServeX is a volunteer platform that equips people to help others find resources they need when facing a crisis. We train 'Resource Coordinators' to do this with neighbors in our County going through a difficult time. Volunteer Resource Coordinators will spend a minimum of two hours per week providing this service to members of our County. We are building a team at present and plan to launch soon. Crossover Sound Waves is the host 501c3 nonprofit working with the CityServeX platform to launch this volunteer service network in Santa Cruz County. We are recruiting from local fellowships that are part of the Santa Cruz Pastors Fellowship. If interested, or if you know of someone who might be, contact me at [email protected].

How Do We Help?

The cost of housing in Santa Cruz County makes just about any unexpected expense or the loss of employment a threat to stable housing for people living at the federal poverty level in this County. We currently have two needs: one is for a person who has a car that needs repair and registration, and the other is for an individual with medical problems who needs a bed.

If you want to make a difference, please consider a tax-deductible donation for people in vulnerable situations. We provide a range of homeless prevention assistance. Once someone becomes homeless, regaining housing can be far more costly. Please consider donating. We can also take donations on our page.
