This morning we are Cleaning up Hopkins cemetery and marking all the veterans, 1st responders and Law Enforcement officers head stones with our family and Active military members of our Dover Airfirce base for the Wreath laying of our Wreaths Across America ceremony that is Saturday December 13th at noon sharp. Very touching ceremony please mark your calendars if you would like to come out.

Rest in peace sir. It was a pleasure serving in the fire service with you since I was a kid. You inspired so many and had such dedication for our department and community. Thank you so much and you will truly be missed by all.

The Felton Community Fire Co. mourns the loss of 60 year member William “Bill” Chandler. Bill joined the company November 1st, 1965. Over his dedicated service to his community Bill served as President in 1975,76,84, 95,96, and 1997. Chief in 2007, and served on countless committees and worked countless dinners. Bill earned his 50 year service award in 2015, Firefighter of the year 2000, and Fireman of the year in 2003. Bill always greeted everyone with a smile and firm handshake. He will be missed by many. Please keep his wife Frances and the family in your thoughts and prayers. As details on services are finalized we will make them available.

Come out to Tractor Supply in Smyrna today for their Hometown Hero’s event from 10 to 2. They have all kinds of vendors, food trucks and fire along with police apparatus.

Happy October everyone!!! We have put together a little fundraising basket featuring some of our DHWO gear and sauces. Tickets are $5 each or 5/$20. Drawing will be done on November 1st in the afternoon while we are at Smyrna Tractor Supply for their Hometown Heroes Event.

Hey all, we are coming to our amazing supporters because you rock it every time!!! We have been informed of a Veteran in need of financial support to make a trip to see family who are not doing well. With this trip he will be accommodating his senior dog who is also not well. Any and all donations are appreciated. The trip is scheduled for Monday.
