It's a nationwide scam where thieves take people's money telling them it will benefit Military care packages, now FOX 12's Most Wanted are accused of doing it in Hillsboro.

Unfortunately, I'm not able to do this for our troops this year due to a big work project that is gobbling up my free time & energy, but next year... count on it!!!

As a troop supporter, Veterans Day has taken on new significance. For me it's a reminder of the millions of soldiers throughout our history that gave everything in their service to our country. It's about strangers who became my friends, it's about those friends being here one minute and gone the next. It's about PTSD & the loss of limbs. It's about the tears of loss for one family and the tears of relief for another.

So, to all the Omar's, the Randy's, to the Taylor's, the Thomas Baysore's and the Adrian's, it's not just about thanking you for your service, that just isn't enough. It's about saying I see you, I honor you and I will always, always remember you.

May God Bless our veterans, our troops and everyone who loves them. ~

My daughter & I had an amazing day meeting hundreds of local veterans at the Monterey County Stand-Down. What makes the experience so surreal is that the majority of these fine men & women, our nation's warriors, are homeless. Looking into the eyes of these veterans, seeing them w/ out the stigma of homelessness, and having the opportunity to take part in an event to aide them was a truly humbling experience.

I'm hoping to get a bunch of letters, cards & kid's drawings to add to about 10 troop care packages!
A simple note to a service member could make their day, so please grab your pen & paper!! This would be a great project for kids to work on, too!! Our troops love to get drawings & notes from kids!! 👭👫👬

Major Troop Support Organization needs our Support Right Now!!

Thanks to Any Soldier Inc., 2,372,485 Service Members have received support during their deployments by means of cards, letters & care packages sent by thousands of troop supporters like me. 🙋

But, Any Soldier Inc. is running out of money!! As a donation dependent non-profit organization, they utilize a yearly fundraiser to pay their bills. This years' fundraiser ends on July 4th, but they've made less than 10% of their goal. They need help right now!! These are hard times, we all know it, but look what this "Mom & Pop" style non-profit has accomplished!
