📢 Important Medicaid Update for Maryland Residents

Starting January 1, 2027, some adults enrolled in Medicaid may be required to meet new federal work or activity requirements and renew their coverage more frequently.

The good news? Most people will be exempt, including many who are:
✅ Pregnant
✅ Caring for young children
✅ Living with a disability or long-term health condition
✅ In school, job training, or a work program

Right now, no action is required, but it’s important to:
✔️ Keep your contact information up to date
✔️ Report any changes to your household or income
✔️ Watch for updates from Maryland Health Connection

🚨 MEDICARE FRAUD ALERT 🚨

Please take a few minutes to review your Medicare Summary Notice (MSN) and Explanation of Benefits (EOB). Across the country, fraudulent charges for urinary catheters and medical supplies have been appearing on accounts for items people never ordered or received.

🔍 Watch for:
✅ Charges for supplies you never received
✅ Doctors you don’t recognize
✅ Medical companies you’ve never heard of
✅ Services or items you never requested

Protect yourself and your loved ones by checking your statements regularly. If something doesn’t look right, don’t ignore it!

The Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program helps eligible seniors receive coupons to purchase fresh fruits, vegetables, herbs, and other locally grown foods from participating farmers markets and roadside stands! 🌞🛒

To qualify, you must:
✅ Be age 60 or older
✅ Meet the income eligibility guidelines
✅ Income is based on gross household income before taxes

📌 2026 Income Guidelines (185% Federal Poverty Level):

👤 Household of 1 — $29,526 yearly / $2,461 monthly
👥 Household of 2 — $40,034 yearly / $3,337 monthly
👨‍👩‍👧 Household of 3 — $50,542 yearly / $4,212 monthly
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Household of 4 — $61,050 yearly / $5,088 monthly

➕ Add $10,508 yearly or $876 monthly for each additional household member.
