Every day, young people walk out of detention expected to rebuild their lives.

Most leave with nothing.

No clean clothes.
No hygiene essentials.
No support system.
No real plan for what comes next.

They are told to “start over” without being given the tools to actually do it.

At Independent Achievements for Minority Youth, we are stepping in during one of the most critical moments of a young person’s life through our Beyond Impact Re Entry Program.

We are raising $5,000 to complete 30 Re Entry Kits for individuals being released during the month of June.

These kits are more than bags.

They are a first step toward stability, dignity, structure, and hope.

Each kit includes essential clothing, hygiene products, resource materials, planning tools, and supportive items designed to help young people transition back into the community with confidence and support.

Because the moment they walk out matters.

That moment can determine whether someone falls back into instability or begins moving toward healing, accountability, and opportunity.

Your support helps ensure they do not walk out empty handed.

This is prevention.
This is intervention.
This is community impact in real time.

Together, we can help create safer communities, stronger futures, and real second chances.

Donations are tax deductible.

Every donation made to IAMU (Independent Achievements for Minority Youth) goes directly toward empowering survivors, strengthening families, and building safer, stronger communities. This is more than a donation. It is support for healing, stability, and real second chances.

We serve survivors of sexual exploitation and domestic violence through trauma-informed care, safety planning, counseling, life skills, mentorship, housing support, and re-entry services. Every dollar helps someone rebuild their life with dignity and direction.

Your support matters right now. Not later. Not tomorrow. Today.

Give what you can. Share what you can. Be part of the impact that changes lives one person at a time.

This Give Big, we are standing in the gap for youth, survivors, and families who deserve real support and real opportunities.

At Independent Achievements for Minority Youth, our ESP Program provides empowerment and safety for CSEC survivors of sexual exploitation and domestic violence through advocacy, healing support, life skills, mentorship, and trauma informed care.

Our Beyond Impact Re Entry Program helps individuals returning home rebuild their lives with re entry planning, housing support, employment guidance, mentorship, and the tools needed for long term success.

We believe healing, second chances, and stability should not be privileges, they should be possible for everyone.

Your support helps us create safer communities, stronger families, and brighter futures.

Most walk out with nothing.

No clean clothes.

They are told to start over, but are given no tools to do it.

This is about the moment they walk out.

That moment determines everything.

Make sure they do not walk out empty handed.

Your support directly impacts young people in our community and helps interrupt cycles of instability before they continue. This is prevention. This is accountability. This is real opportunity.

If you are open to supporting or want to connect further, I would welcome the conversation. Donations are tax deductible.
