The following vital board roles keep our league running strong and ensure our players and families have the best experience possible. If you’ve ever thought about stepping in, now is the perfect time.

If you have questions, want to learn more, or are curious about what these roles involve, feel free to reach out or join us at our upcoming board meeting to connect, listen, and get involved.

📣 FWNLL Community Update

To stay compliant with Little League International, we need to fill two required board positions: Softball Player Agent and Treasurer.

No prior experience is needed for the Softball Player Agent role — just a heart for our athletes and a willingness to support families.
For the Treasurer position, experience with treasury or financial management is preferred but not required.

If you’re interested or want to learn more, please reach out directly.

You’re also invited to join us at our next board meeting on Thursday, October 8 at 6:00 PM.

🚧 Turf Project Is Officially Underway, FWNLL! ⚾🔥

Big news, FWNLL family! Construction on our new turf fields has begun, and we are so excited to see this long-awaited upgrade coming to life. This is a huge step forward for our players, our league, and our community.

As crews get to work, we need everyone’s help keeping the complex safe:

• Stay out of all gated construction areas
• Do not touch, climb, or play near any equipment
• Stay alert and keep an eye out while moving through the complex
• And if you see the crew, give them a B I G THANK YOU!

Big things are happening at FWNLL and this is just the beginning.

📣 Federal Way Families — Our Annual Meeting is Almost Here!

We’re gearing up for our Federal Way National Little League Annual Meeting on September 3 at 6:00 PM at the Complex, and we’d love to see our community show up strong.

This meeting is where we:
• Review the year
• Share updates on league projects (including our turf field progress!)
• Vote on open board positions
• Welcome new volunteers who want to help shape the future of FWNLL

If you’re an adult with a player in the league or actively involved in FWNLL, you’re a voting member and you can even run for a board role. We have several positions open, including President, Treasurer, Safety, Softball Player Agent, Baseball Directors, Events, Sponsorship, and three Member‑at‑Large seats.

FWNLL thrives because of volunteers who step up for our kids and our community. If you’ve ever thought about getting involved, this is the perfect moment.

See you on September 3! Let’s build the future of FWNLL together.
