🌿 Call for Older Adults / Community Elders

Outreach & Transform Lives is looking for older adults who are available this Saturday, May 30, to participate in Roots & Routes: Youth-Led Storytelling Showcase.

Youth will be interviewing older adults and capturing short stories about culture, identity, transitions, environment, belonging, and community connection.

📍 Location: Kent
🕚 Time: 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM

🌱 Moments from our Culturally Relevant Plant Starts visit with Tilth Alliance.

Last Saturday OTL youth had a hands-on opportunity to learn about seed starting, culturally relevant crops, soil, planting, and how food connects to culture, environment, and community care.

From preparing pots to exploring plant starts, this visit helped youth build practical growing skills while deepening their understanding of food justice and environmental stewardship.

Thank you to Tilth Alliance for creating a meaningful learning space for our youth to grow, ask questions, and connect with the land and community. 🌿

Join us for a youth-led storytelling showcase featuring short interview-based micro-documentaries created with older adults. These stories explore cultural identity, migration, belonging, environment, and community connection.
