Valley Retired Police Dog Association The Valley Retired Police Dog Association's goal is to financially support Police Service dogs in their retirement. https://venmo.com/u/VRPDAk9

The Valley Retired Police Dog Association is an organization of current and retired Police K-9 handlers from the South King County area. Cities represented in this association include Auburn, Black Diamond, Des Moines, Federal Way, Kent, Renton, and Tukwila. The goal of this association is to financially support Police Service dogs in their retirement years. Police agencies provide food and veteri

nary care for dogs during their active service years. Once dogs retire, agencies no longer provide this support for the dogs. Police dogs often endure years of physically demanding work serving their communities. The nature of their work catches up with them in their older years, often resulting in extra medical needs. The VRPDA is a nonprofit organization (501c), registered with the IRS. Stayed tuned for opportunities to support us online. Checks can be made out to the Valley Retired Police Dog Association. Your ongoing help and support is greatly appreciated!

Honor Our K9 Heroes with Your Support!

The Valley Retired Police Dog Association (VRPDA), a nonprofit serving Auburn, Federal Way, Kent, Renton, and Tukwila Police Departments, is dedicated to ensuring our retired K9 heroes live their golden years in comfort. These brave dogs, handled by 11 devoted officers (Auburn: 3, Federal Way: 3, Kent: 3, Renton: 1, Tukwila: 1), have protected our communities through years of intense service, often enduring physical wear and tear.

VRPDA covers costly veterinary care—surgeries, medications, and more—so handlers aren’t burdened with medical bills for their loyal partners. The association is funded exclusively via generous donations and calendar sales. Your donation helps these four-legged heroes get the care they deserve after a lifetime of service.

Laslty, VRPDA is looking for businesses who might be interested in sponsoring the 2026 K9 calendar! If you'd like to see your logo in and amongst the coolest dogs on Earth, send VRPDA a message and we'll get back to you as soon as possible!
