The Soweto office expansion has been completed and the first training was held last weekend. Grateful that there is now a place to hold trainings in-house!

There have been students leading groups with other students for a while, but with Covid-19 uncertainties, this is needed even more. Now multiple trainings are taking place with spiritually mature students who can lead groups. They are being given Reach4Life books to start their groups. We call them "foxes" from a story about Samson in the Bible.

Ulundi (KwaZulu-Natal) Area Coordinator, Sylvia Twala (taking picture), has launched seven R4L Teacher Fellowship Clubs. She says: "We have requested to do devotions with the teachers before schools starts in the morning. To our surprise the teachers are arriving in the early hours of the morning to attend our R4L devotions". These teachers are from Dlebe Primary School.

The ground has been cleared and some materials are on site for the new church building in Harrismith. Neighbors & Peer Educators have pitched in to help. Toilets have arrived, and trenches have been dug for pipes to connect to the local water supply. The builder's crew arrived this week and now the building begins! Emmanuel (Thandy's husband), in blue shirt, has been overseeing (and doing) much of the preparation. Looking forward to seeing it go up!

Luvuyo, grade 7, was recently trained as a student leader. Her headmaster (Mrs Phakiso of Sentibali primary school) asked her to share the section on drugs with all the kids in grades 4-7 because drugs are a big challenge for them. The headmaster said, “This program is doing more than our government is doing in terms of intervention programs.”

Mozambique is also training student group leaders ("foxes"). Country Coordinator, Merson (far right), says, “ What a joy it has been to see the same kids we taught now teaching others. This is a great strategy and we believe we will reach more kids even faster.”
