The Disaster Resistant Business Toolkit Workgroup (DRBTW) is an IRS certified 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that specializes in developing and implementing tools, education, and training to assist small-to-medium sized businesses and non-profits to become more resilient. We consist of subject-matter experts from Fortune 100 & 500 businesses, government and non-profits who have improved resiliency in our own organizations and are sharing best practices. During disasters in our communities, we saw a dire need of smaller organizations who lacked resources or perspective that made them more vulnerable to disruption, losses, and closure. For over 20 years, DRBTW has been working to develop resilient businesses before and after all types of disasters from earthquake, floods, tornados, and the pandemic. Affected businesses also cause major impacts to the community as well, as we all rely on the smaller companies and non-profits to be operational after a disaster providing their services, products, and support. More prepared businesses help make the whole community more resilient! In addition, we seek to incorporate feedback provided by users as they create, and utilize materials produced by our organization. We see our Contributors, Collaborators and Clients are all part of our overall partnership efforts to make organizations and communities more resilient. We value all ideas and thoughts.
