As devastating floods tore through parts of Nepal, children watched their communities change in a matter of minutes. Bridges were destroyed. Homes were swept away. Many children were at school when the flood happened, leaving them separated from their homes and families.

World Vision is working to support affected families with urgent assistance and care in the wake of this disaster.

🚨Severe flooding is devastating communities across Nepal.

At least 18 people are missing and around 60 homes have been swept away after floodwaters tore through communities in Rasuwa and Nuwakot. Roads and bridges have washed away, leaving some of the hardest-hit areas cut off from rescue teams.

World Vision is monitoring the situation, assessing the impact on children and families, and stands ready to respond.
