Our community would have never made the significant accomplishments without the support of Seattle Foundation; Seattle Foundation have taken the leadership of ensuring communities like ours can thrive, and shape the decisions that affect our lives. Because of their partnership and support our community have since had a sense of belonging and actively engaged in conversations that impact our community and neighbors in south king county.

When you give to Seattle Foundation, your single gift creates ripples of change throughout the community. With your support, you can help organizations, like Somali Bantu Community services of WA, build a movement for long-lasting change. Partner with us by giving a gift today to ensure nonprofits can serve their communities: https://bit.ly/3ovSrRh.

When we asked their Executive Director Hussein Mberwa to share thoughts about our partnership, he said, “Thanks to Neighbor to Neighbor (N2N) and Seattle Foundation for supporting our efforts to organize in our Somali Bantu community in South King County. The grant for education and engagement has so far played a critical role in helping the Somali Bantu community understand why their voices matter and make a difference, which is different than back home.”
