We are so excited when we come to check on the pantry and it's full. However this morning's excitement quickly changed when a good portion of what was in the pantry was expired. Not just by a month or so... Back to expiring in 2018. All thrown right in the garbage.
Folks, if you don't want to eat it, others don't either.
PLEASE check your dates before donating!

Reminder: the pantry is primarily for food and hygiene items. We understand some clothes/blankets at times but odd items have been showing up recently. Please donate these to the donation box outside the church property towards dollar tree or the thrift store down the hill.

Also, as part of this we also received bags of oranges and apples! They are in the pantry, however it is currently without a door. Please be aware when you are dropping off or picking up. Happy Thanksgiving!
