Wonderful Waterways will be hosting the Elk River Cleanup this Friday October 23rd. Volunteers will meet at Gracie's canoe at 10:30am. Canoes/kayaks are being generously provided free of charge for volunteers by Gracie's!

đź’¦ Come be part of the art and learn about water quality in the Know the Flow project installed in partnership with the Friends of Spring Creek art exhibition at Perrodin Supply Co.

This interactive art piece shows how water moves from our built environment like roofs, parking lots, and sidewalks to our creeks through our storm drain system. Anything like oils, chemicals, pet waste, and trash left on the ground enters our storm drains when it rains and flows directly to creeks and streams hurting water quality.

We spent the morning with Core States Group Arkansas volunteers as part of Pick up where you play in the Osage Creek in Roger’s, AR. Thanks to those that volunteer their hours and to companies that give them space in the work day to better their community and environment! Not a bad day at the office!

Join us at@perrodinsupply on Thursday at 6pm for the Art and Science of the Watershed! We will have rain barrels for you to assemble, paint, and take home. Supplies will be generously provided by but bring your own design idea!
While we paint, will give a talk on art and conservation work.

Friends of Spring Creek- Art and Science of the Watershed

At 6pm on Thursday Oct 8th we will have rain barrels at to assemble and paint and take home. It's $40 for the rain barrel, cash or check only (at the door). Please register beforehand so we know how many barrels to bring!

Supplies and paint will be provided, (Thank you )
BUT BRING YOUR OWN DESIGN IDEA, and any tools or stencils you need.
We will provide instructions on how to set your rain barrel up when you take it home. While we are painting, will give a talk on art in conservation work!

Check out the new sticker/whisker installation in Springdale. It shows the flow of storm water from Parents and supply all the way to Spring Creek. The installation shows what happens on our streets end up in our creeks!
