👮‍♂️🚔 🌟 Today, Woodmen Life furnished breakfast for the Fayetteville Police Department, Cumberland County Sheriff’s Department, NC Highway Patrol and other local law enforcement agencies as we joined Sheriff Johnathan Morgan: Cumberland County Sheriff's Office for the Annual Peace Officer Memorial Ceremony. Together, we honored and remembered the brave law enforcement officers who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.

We wanted to pay tribute to our fallen heroes and recognize the service of law enforcement officers and their families as our second quarter Common Bond Patriotism Project. Board members who participated were Connie and Jerry Bennett, Bill McPhail and Amanda Crew. The breakfast consisted of an assortment of Chick-fil-A biscuits and chicken minis, fruit trays, coffee and orange juice.

🎄🎅🏼 Over the month of December, we have signed and delivered hundreds of holiday cards to a few of our local nursing homes!

•Haymount Rehabilitation & Nursing Center-105 cards
•Whispering Pines Nursing & Rehabilitation Center-80 cards
•The Carrolton of Fayetteville-122 cards

Jerry Bennett and Bill McPhail also collected a trunk-full of clothing (scarves, jackets, hats, socks, and underwear) to donate to the Ally Fountation, distributed on December 14th. They were very grateful for this contribution!

Thank you to our team for taking time to spread some holiday cheer to our community this season. 🎁

On November 19th, our chapter took a trip to Balm in Gilead Family Counseling Ministries, where we gave $500 in baby supplies 🍼—diapers, wipes, and formula. They were very excited to receive these for the moms in need! We also gave Ms. Vivian a $1,000 monetary donation for their ministry. They were so grateful for our donations, and we were grateful to bless them with it! The last picture is of their sanctuary where they hold services. ✝️

Tonight, we met at Sammios to fellowship and have a going-away dinner in honor of Amanda Crew—our board president of 2025 and treasurer for the previous 3 years.

We want to take a moment to recognize and thank you, Amanda, for all that you have done for our chapter and the community. We appreciate the countless hours and dedication that you have put into your work. You will be greatly missed!
