CSDD is also excited to share a free, high-impact training resource for current and aspiring small business owners: Operation HOPE’s Small Business Development program, which offers coaching, education, and tools to help entrepreneurs launch, stabilize, and grow their ventures.

In addition, we are proud to highlight Operation HOPE’s 1 Million Black Businesses (1MBB) initiative, a national movement to help create and support 1 million Black-owned businesses by 2030 through no-cost coaching, technical assistance, and access to capital and partners.

Black entrepreneurs can join 1MBB to get help launching, growing, and scaling their businesses while building long-term wealth for their families and communities.

What is ArtsXL:

Last Friday, Cool Spring Downtown District staff attended the Data Information Session led by Fayetteville Cumberland Economic Development Corporation. During the Session, Speaker John Geib gave concise, agnostic information and shared conversation with community members regarding the potential impacts (both positive & negative) of data center developments and how the industry is rapidly evolving.

As part of our Strategic Plan, CSDD mobilizes Downtown to participate in these sorts of community conversations, and advocate as needed for policies that affect economic development, social equity, and cultural vibrancy.
