Big S/O to Kameka for hosting including me and bringing the community together! 🙌🏾❤️ You already know I stay supporting reentry and our justice-involved community, especially when it’s AUTHENTIC and focused on connecting people to real opportunities and resources.

The event brought together for Dismas residents NCWorks, Connections of Cumberland County, Shine for Sight, Fayetteville Fire Department, community resources, CPR demonstrations, health & safety awareness, food and dessert vendors, barber/grooming services, hair stylist services, and more! 💼🔥💈

🚨 GED Prep is CANCELLED for today.

Classes will resume this Friday from 12:00 PM–3:00 PM.

🎓 MUST BE 18 OR OLDER

RCS GED Prep supports adults working toward earning their GED who need additional preparation, guidance, and encouragement.

We especially welcome individuals navigating reentry, justice involvement, housing instability, employment barriers, or other life transitions where earning a GED can help open doors to employment, education, and greater stability.

🧸❤️ TOYS AND LEARNING GAMES NEEDED FOR CHILDREN ❤️📚

We are collecting toys, books, and learning games for children ages 0–10 whose parents are currently living in transitional housing.

These families are working hard to rebuild their lives, and we want every child to feel remembered, supported, and loved during this transition. We are supporting children with different needs and abilities, including children with autism.

Items needed include:

Sensory-friendly toys
Educational and communication games
Books and puzzles
Building blocks
Art supplies
Age-appropriate toys

New or gently used donations are welcome. Items should be clean, complete, and safe for children.
