Seth's Wish

Seth's Wish At 9 years old, Seth made a wish. His wish was to help the homeless and hungry. We are working to make his wish come true every day.

We provide hot meals, grocery and snack bags, clothing, hygiene items and other basic essentials needed for survival.

I'm putting out an SOS call to all of our Seth's Wish Warriors! We have a HUGE ask for a VERY deserving family in need. We have a family with a daughter that has a disability that she uses a motorized wheelchair for.

They have been living in a very old small trailer and have been having to carry her and then her very heavy wheelchair up and down the trailer steps every time they have to leave or come home. The small trailer is not an ideal space although they have made due and are grateful for a home. It's very hard for her to move around in her wheelchair inside as well. They are aware of laws etc that require handicapped accessibility, it's not going to be a possibility at their current location.

They have the opportunity to move into a home that is completely handicapped accessible with a ramp in the front and back of the house! The entire home is set up to be convenient for their daughter.

Here's where we need help, they need first months rent, last months rent, plus the security deposit. It's a total of $2800.00 for them to move in on September 1st. I know this is a big amount, but I know we can get this done!

Dad has a full time job and is capable of sustaining this home moving forward, the rent here is only $100 more than at their current trailer.

I'll keep this post updated in the comments as money comes in for them so we can keep track of what is still needed.

Happy Tuesday! The Free Store is open from 10-2 at 345 Desmond Drive in Fayetteville.

I'm pretty sure that we were able to give away a thousand packs of paper plates on Saturday 🤣 to local churches and families. We have more today, there's a limit of 2 packs per family. Everything else is up for grabs (obviously for FREE).

When you park, please don't block anyone's driveway, mailbox or garbage cans. And yes we are accepting donations today. Make sure everything you drop off is clean and in good shape. Thanks everyone! See y'all soon!

Update: we've gotten $20 so far, $265 to go 🙂
We're about to head downtown to serve Free lunch but I just got a call from a counselor that someone needs our help ASAP. All I can say is that a young mom and her kiddos are fleeing a situation and need us to cover the cost of a room until Monday morning when their safe space is available. It's already a sure thing and we just have to get them by until then.

We need $285 to cover it. If you can help here's how.....

I don't think I have ever seen so many pans of meatballs in my life 🤣 We have 3 big bowls of pasta salad and Gatorade and Capri Suns to drink today.

For Thursdays Free Lunch I need something easy and delicious so I'm thinking bbq meatballs and pasta salad. I have noodles. That's it lol. Money is very tight for me this week and I'm starting to sweat!

Anyone interested in donating lots of meatballs and bbq sauce for Thursdays Free Lunch? Possibly some veggies and Italian dressing too for the pasta salad? We feed about 50 people on Thursdays.

FREE! It's Tuesday so you know what that means! We're set up for everyone to come shop for FREE at Seth's Wish. We're open from 10 to 2 at 345 Desmond Drive in Fayetteville.

No proof of need or ID needed, just come take all this good stuff. There are so many nice clothes for men, women and kids. All sizes. Lots of name brands and school uniforms.

We got kids toys and brand new sprinklers and so much more. And lots in the back to put out new stuff all day.
