As we near the end of the momentous exhibit "Recognize! 575" we pause to reflect on the love and learning that was shared at the opening just a few weeks back. People from many places and backgrounds gathered to express sincere acknowledgement of the significance that art has had in the Lumbee Tribe's journey to federal recognition.

We extend a resounding thank you to our artists/collectors and their families along with public officials in attendance including:
- Councilman Derick Thompson: Fayetteville City Council
- Commissioner Glen Adams: Cumberland County
- Representative Michael Colvin : NC House

We were blessed with incredible music by Alexis Raeana and will also share her original song Keep My Memory.
