Creek Cleanup Project The Creek Cleanup Project is 501c3 Non-profit Organization Dedicated To Cleaning Our Waterways.

CCP was created to be a standing group/organization to not only clean up the local waterways but maintain them on a regular basis, along with keeping the trash out of our waters we want to remove fallen trees and other debris that pose a immediate threat to people that paddle or float the waterways. Our mission is simple, goals achievable, there is no other group like CCP in Franklin County, we are starting small but we will grow and become more effective and efficient in our tasks.

Unfortunately the water was still murky, we ran it and got what we could see but I'm sure we missed stuff.

It was a beautiful day and a great float.

Josh used the drysuit that was donated to us, happy to say it worked great, he stayed completely dry, I'm going to do some research, this brand would hold up for the work and keep us comfortable in the winter.

Gotta love pulling up to the spot and finding freshly dumped trash.

I know many people in Marion watch Feaster Rd , many people slow down when they see us loading or unloading trash, till they figure out what we are doing.

It's a shame the section of Feaster Rd just before Guitner is still being used as a dumping ground so often.
