WEEKLY SITREP:
PTSD Awareness Month
For many in our military and veteran community, the battle didn't end when the deployment ended. Some carry memories, burdens, and wounds that remain long after the uniform comes off.
At Freedom at a Price, we want you to know this:
You are not weak.
You are not broken.
You are not alone.
Many of us have spent years trying to carry these burdens in silence. We were trained to be strong, to push through, and to keep moving. But healing often begins when we stop fighting alone.
Scripture reminds us:
"Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ." — Galatians 6:2
Whether you're struggling with anxiety, anger, isolation, sleepless nights, guilt, or memories you can't seem to escape, there is hope.
Hope is not found in pretending the wound doesn't exist. Hope is found in bringing that wound into the light and allowing Christ to meet us there.
This month, check on your battle buddies. Make the phone call. Send the text. Invite someone to coffee. Let them know they matter.
And if you're the one struggling, don't suffer in silence.
We're here for you.
