On Friday Richie Lovan, Leigh Shannon Smith, Pat Pickard Smith, and Michael Smith represented Arkansas River Chapter Pontiac & GMC Club of Arkansas as we presented Solomon Burchfield of New Beginnings Northwest Arkansas with $2500 raised by the Natural State Show and Shine.

Those of you who were at the show will note that Thomas, who moved us with his story at the show, was also on hand for the presentation.

Andrew Coburn worked on his 1968 Pontiac Firebird for 14 years, and brought it out for the first time to the Natural State Show and Shine. It was our pleasure to recognize his great work with the Gidney Award, presented each year at the show in memory of our club's first president, Steve Gidney. Great job Andrew!
